Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This policy explains how Zinnia Bridal (“we”, “us”, “our”), the bridal boutique at 390 Princes Hwy, Rockdale NSW 2216, collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you request an appointment or send us an enquiry through this website, we collect the details you choose to give us:

  • your first name and phone number, and your email address if you choose to give it;
  • your wedding date, preferred appointment day and time, budget range, size range and how you heard about us (all optional);
  • the gowns on your Try-on List and any message you write to us;
  • a record that you sent your request after our notice that we may contact you by phone, text message or email about your appointment.

With your request we also record technical details: the page you sent it from, the page that referred you, your device type, and advertising campaign identifiers in the page address (such as UTM tags or a Google click ID). This tells us which pages and campaigns bring people to us.

Your Try-on List is kept in your own browser (local storage). It is not sent to us unless you include it in an appointment request.

How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and arrange, confirm or change your appointment;
  • to prepare the gowns you would like to try;
  • to understand how people find our website and to improve our website and advertising.

We only contact you about your request. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have asked to receive them.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar tools from trusted providers to measure visits and the results of our advertising, and to protect our forms from spam:

  • Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads (visit and conversion measurement);
  • Microsoft Clarity (page interaction recordings and heatmaps that help us improve the site);
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (a spam check on our forms).

These providers may process information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and how you use our pages. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies does not stop you from browsing gowns or requesting an appointment.

Who we share it with

Your information is seen by our boutique team. It is stored with our website hosting provider and sent to our team by email. The analytics, advertising and security providers listed above receive the technical information described there. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not otherwise disclose your personal information unless the law requires it.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted staff access and spam protection on our forms. We keep your information only for as long as we need it to look after your enquiry and appointment, or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected] or calling (02) 8056 1206. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
